A Weekend in Blue Ridge: Come See Us at Sunrise on Blue Ridge!
There’s something special about spending a day wandering through downtown Blue Ridge. Mountain views, locally owned shops, good food, and plenty of unexpected treasures tucked away along Main Street.
And this weekend, Urban Blue Designs is joining in the fun!
From September 4th through September 6th, from 11 AM to 3 PM, we’ll be setting up a special Urban Blue Designs pop-up at Sunrise on Blue Ridge, right in the heart of downtown Blue Ridge, Georgia.
A Little Bit of Everything
If you’ve never stepped inside Sunrise on Blue Ridge, their tagline says it pretty well: “A Lil Bit of Everything.”
The shop is an extension of Sunrise Grocery in Blairsville and brings a little of that North Georgia general-store spirit to downtown Blue Ridge. Inside, you’ll find an eclectic collection that includes locally sourced foods, award-winning jams and jellies from Blairsville, sourwood honey, soaps, candles, apparel, gifts, and beautiful landscape photography.
It’s the kind of shop where you can walk in looking for one thing and end up discovering three other things you didn’t know you needed — which seems just about perfect for a mountain-town afternoon.
And we love that Sunrise puts an emphasis on products and makers from the surrounding area. As a small North Georgia business ourselves, getting the opportunity to spend the weekend inside another locally minded shop makes this pop-up especially fun for us.
Come Flip Through the Books
One of our favorite things about doing events is getting our coloring books off the screen and into your hands.
Pictures online can only show so much. At the pop-up, you can actually flip through the pages, see the illustrations up close, compare the different books, and find the one that feels like it belongs on your coloring table.
We’ll have a selection of Urban Blue Designs coloring books with us, and, of course, we’re always happy to talk coloring, creativity, woodland critters, or whatever else happens to come up.
Make a Day of It in Blue Ridge
If you’ve been looking for an excuse to head to Blue Ridge, this might be a good one.
Come wander downtown, explore the shops, grab something good to eat, enjoy the mountains — and stop in to see us along the way.
